A yogurt bowl is one of the simplest and most gut-supportive breakfasts you can make. Yogurt brings live probiotic cultures that support your gut bacterial diversity. Ingredients

  • 200g full fat Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt for a dairy free option
  • 1 scoop GUTLETE Prebiotic Fibre Blend (10g)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

  • Handful of mixed berries: blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries
  • 1 tbsp granola
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or nut butter of choice
  • Small handful of walnuts or almonds
  • Drizzle of honey to finish

Directions

  1. Add the Greek yogurt to a bowl and stir in the GUTLETE, honey, and vanilla extract until fully combined. GUTLETE dissolves completely and will not change the taste, colour, or texture of the yogurt in any way.
  2. Arrange your toppings over the yogurt — berries first, then granola, seeds, nuts, and a final drizzle of honey.
  3. Eat immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

Full fat Greek yogurt works best for texture and satiety. The fat content also supports the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients from the berries and nuts.

Coconut yogurt is an excellent dairy-free alternative and still provides live cultures if you choose a variety that specifies live and active cultures on the label.

For a thicker, creamier base use strained yogurt or labneh.

Prepare the yogurt base the night before and add fresh toppings in the morning for an even faster start to the day.
